Incanto: Incanto was founded in 2000 by Giovanni Sforza, who had spent decades in Italy's upholstery industry — starting as a leather cutter at Natuzzi before co-founding the furniture company Contempo in 1990. After selling his stake in that venture, Sforza launched Incanto in the Apulian upholstery district of southern Italy, driven by a desire to create furniture capable of "arousing emotions in the customer." The company quickly grew into one of Italy's most dynamic sofa manufacturers, producing upholstered seating from a 22,000-square-meter facility in Matera with a capacity of roughly 1,000 seats a day. Incanto is known for its contemporary, softly curved leather designs that emphasize comfort and craftsmanship alongside aesthetics, with every piece made entirely in Italy and distributed worldwide.
