What is Recertified Furniture

 

We are a small business in Victoria that buys, consigns, refurbishes and sells modern pre-owned furniture from reputable brands.

We buy or consign select pieces from estate sales, moving companies, and private sellers all over British Columbia.

We inspect, professionally repair as needed, and professionally clean each piece of furniture we take in.

We display our pieces in the showroom, located at lower level 475 Gorge Road East, Victoria (the easiest way to get to the store is to navigate to Recertified Furniture, as the entrance is actually on the awkward corner of Gorge Road East and Garbally Road.) All items are available for purchase in person, on the website, over the phone, and are first come first served.

We currate our collection guided by 2 main principles: we want to give our customers products that are timeless and that will last.

After refurbishing 500 + sofas in the past couple of years, we've found that some furniture is built to be cleaned and repaired, but also a lot of it is built to be to be used for a short time and thrown out. We currate our collection of furniture with items that are built in a way that they can be cleaned, repaired, and eventually re-homed, not thrown out.
